Swimming in January

Took the kids swimming today...we went to a river at the foot of the mountain behind San Pedro Sula. It was great, a fast moving stream with many huge boulders and a sand floor. The water was cold, ice cold and everyone had purple lips and most had quivering chins; but they had a blast! It was another first for them, something they had never done before and it was neat to watch them slowly, step by step, make their way into the water and then burst out in giggles.

We're all counting the days until Joyce returns and actually feel like we'll make it now.
